I started getting the code around when i changed to the short ram intake, at the same time i had some work done to my exhaust (new sensors and cat) however the problem seems to be. I have an 02 wrx wagon w/ short ram intake on it. As with any troubleshooting, if you get this code after tinkering with something on your car, chances are the tinkering caused the code! Change the plugs and oil about a month and a half ago and got a maf sensor error and get a p0171 system lean code after resetting the ecu.
